Any opinions on this set? Looks interesting getting a free damage shield constantly, but the amount of the shield is relatively low. Any niche uses for it?

If combined with the permafrost set, it could be fun, but probably not the best build by any means. The hatchling damage shield along with possibly more shields from spells or an ice staff would provide a constant huge increase in health recovery.

If someone wanted to make a character with a lot of shields and health recovery just for kick and giggles, they could do something like this:

Armor - Hatchling, Permafrost, Engine Guardian/Iceheart with health recovery enchantments and divine traits
Weapon - Ice staff with damage shield enchantment and tri focus passive
Race - Orc for the 20% extra health regen from the Malacath's Favor Passive
Spells could include Annulment, Hardened Armor, Ferocious Leap, etc., so DK is definitely a good choice
Mundus Stone - The Steed
Veteran Points - Healthy, anything in the Steed constellation to get the Reinforced passive

Like I said, not the best build by any means, but I think it would prove difficult to die while running it.
