Should we be able to organize items in our packs and banks?

Seriously, this is old technology. Being able to organize and group inventory as you see fit is essential to an mmo.

Fallout 4 has mods on XB... there were reports that PS was going to get mods but didn't... so I can't see any reason why this wouldn't be possible for ESO...

Honestly, I could say no, because letting the game choose where everything goes is fine by me. I know where to find my stuff. Though if this gets added, it wouldn't change a thing for me if I don't mess with any of the settings. Don't like it? Don't touch it. I don't really see a reason why this shouldn't be implemented.

i miss the inventory system in oblivion it was clear and concise, you can see most stats at a glance, there were separate tabs for different item types and can even sort by name, value, weight, damage etc

I was going to say no, and post that I'm fine with how it works now on PC. Then I remembered that's because I have Advanced Filters installed. It was one of the first addons I downloaded and it's so well done it integrates seamlessly - I genuinely forget it's an addon and not a base game feature most of the time.

I don't see how we could actually organise our inventory differently with the list view, unless you mean display items in something other than alphabetical order. But being able to filter or search it is extremely useful. I'd find a lot of things extremely frustrating if I wasn't using Advanced Filters.

I was so annoyed when Update 13 moved all my locked items to the top of my inventory. If I'm collecting a set, I want to see the whole set together. I only lock set pieces once I get good traits.

We already have this on PC with add-ons, but on console I believe you technically have this with the default UI. Would you prefer a more grid based UI instead of a menu system we have now? If so then that'd be a more personal choice balancing the design line in a different direction. I honestly like the current UI, and dislike the traditional grid UI design found in other MMOs. So if ZOS did make the change I'd hope they'd give the player the option of the two.

If you are on PC though, then I'd suggesting taking a look at these two add-ons:
1) Advanced Filters
2) Inventory Grid View

I got a couple add-ons that help with it. Definitely helps make it easier to find things and sort. It is an add-on, but so be it since I can do it.

There's so many different ways to organize things ... even in list view ... for starters I'd like to be able to separate stuff I use frequently from stuff I'm long-term storing such as junk I'm just gonna destroy for research ... also being able to keep recipes together instead of mixing them with the food and maybe put them with motifs and treasure maps ... keeping all armor together instead of scatting it all over by piece type ... it's just a disorganized mess imo ... darkfall allowed you to separate things into named bags within your inventory... I felt more organized with 1000 items than I do now with less than 100 lol

I would like to be able to rename my items so they could sort better. Of course, renaming would bind the item.
