ZOS Took All My Homestead Items, Crowns, Gold

I had purchased the Mathiisen Manor a few days ago and things were just fine. I started decorating it, and noticed I was having tons of issues with clipping and things go through walls. So I made a ticket about it, asking for my crowns back for a refund...

The following day I get kicked from the servers, and upon logging noticed that I did in fact receive my crowns back. However, I was allowed to keep my house. I'm assuming out of kindness on ZOS' end. So I said figured all was well. And proceeded with continuing to decorate the home. After all, it seemed like ZOS was kind enough to let me keep it after the numerous bugs it had. I spent tons upon tons of crowns on my house (all which is possible to be seen via my transactions on ZOS' end). And decided to deal with the numerous bugs and glitches going on with it. I login in a few moments ago, and notice I have no primary house. Just the home they gave me for completing the quest for Homestead.

WTF is this? Where is my house? And where are all the items that I filled with it? Where's my thrones, the Senche I put all around it, the 2 crown DPS dummies I put in it, the tons of bamboo and other items I put in there and the crafted things I made for it? It's ALL gone. Everything. All my hours of hard work. All the crown store home items I bought. All of it is gone.

Are you kidding me? I want ALL the crowns I spent on that house back, AND the items I crafted for it. As well as the AP for some of the items I bought for it and gold. I can't believe this crap. Absolutely ridiculous. And for proof, I'll link below a picture I took for a thread I made on these very forums with me in my house. Edit #2: All is well, and everything has been fixed. Huge thank you to @ZOS_GinaBruno and the staff at ZOS customer support. Without you guys, none of this would've been possible. Much appreciated.

This is just like that time I told my landlord I was moving out at the end of the month, so I stopped paying rent, but on the 3rd of the month I noticed nobody new had moved in, so I thought maybe my landlord had decided to let me live there for free. So I moved all my stuff back in, put up some new curtains, got a new chair, but I came home on the 6th and the locks were changed and all my stuff was on the nature strip! Can you believe it? I was so mad. But they wouldn't give me back my money for my curtains or would they pay me for any of the other stuff I got to keep, I just had nowhere to put any more.

So what am I supposed to do now that I'm assed out of the tons of crowns I bought for the house, AND on the items I purchased from the crown store for my house? WTF am I supposed to do about the in-game gold I spent on my house, and crafted items I created after farming for materials for hours on end? WTF am I supposed to do? The paintings that I had to seek out person-by-person, because they were purples and rare drops. As well as other rare blueprints and all that. Are you trolling? Look at that tab. That's the PURCHASE tab. Meaning you go there to PURCHASE items. Not the items that you already purchased. And I'll be damned if I re-buy all the crap I had with even more money to these dudes. You're out of your mind. If I go to my gallery, all that is there are trophies which were acquired via beating trials and dungeons. That's it. Nothing else. Want a screen shot of that? Because I'll happily take 1.

Tell you what. Let it happen to you. Let all of the gold, crowns, and rare items you've acquired disappear. Then you sit there calmly, and be cool-headed about it. Let all the real life dollars and time you've spent appear to mean nothing, and carry on as if nothing happened to you. My money? Means a LOT to me. My time? Means a LOT to me. It would be 1 thing, if weren't real life cash involved. Or even then, only a couple of bucks here and there. But clearly you have no idea just how much money was involved. And thus it's easy to sit back and make posts like you are. Plus it's not happening to you.

Look, you're probably just going to be told to submit a ticket and list items you had before the removal. Be honest since they have records of your items. If its possible for them to un-delete your house and remove the items and put them back into your account or however they would do it with code, then they are responsible for the crown items at least. It just looks really bad that you put so much into it, felt so passionate about it you invested so heavily in it, then you wanted a refund, and expected to keep it, its just a head scratcher.

I didn't expect to keep it. Which I said my initial post. I found it odd that ZOS did NOT take the house back, upon returning my crowns to me. Which is why I figured it was ZOS' way of being kind, due to the house having so many issues with it. You know how when you have issues with a product and go to turn it in, some companies are kind enough to let you keep it while giving you back your money as a gesture of valuing you as a customer? I mean, who the hell gives you back your money for something but doesn't take the product back until 2 to 3 days afterward? Who does this, besides apparently ZOS? And even more so, why didn't they at least mail to me all the items that I put in there? But no, you're just going to up and wipe everything? EVERYTHING!? And not even have a means of me retrieving what I bought, crafted, etc.?

i truly get how upsetting that would be. i just don't understand why you would do all that after they refunded your crowns for the house without checking. What changed that before-you wanted a refund, apparently because you didn't want to do anything with it; then when they refunded your crowns-you spent more gold and real money on it? I'm not trying to be condescending. it just doesn't make sense that you would do that or that you would expect them to go through everything sorting out what is what before eliminating that instance of the house. I'm sure they assumed that if you asked for a refund and got it-that you didn't invest anymore in it. It does suck badly though

That sucks. Yeah, if the house hadn't disappeared after a certain amount of time, I would have assumed they weren't going to delete it, too. I would have waited a week to be sure, because I'm paranoid.

I'm kind of afraid of keeping my crown crate pets in my house, in case they should disappear. (Probably won't happen, but ...) With the few pets I've bought in the crown store, I can prove I bought them, but with the crown crate animals, all I can prove is that I bought crates, not that I won that particular pet when I opened the crates. If one of those disappeared forever, I'd be screwed.

You asked for a refund and got it. Why you tempted fate by using the house that you asked a refund on is beyond me. I mean I would have done it too, but it would have been a LONG time after just to make sure. Like multiple updates later.

I wasn't planning on even investing on it that much either. Day 1 goes by after refund... Nothing happens. Day 2 goes by... Nothing happens... Day 3 goes by... Okay. Maybe they are being kind enough to let me keep it. Why not invest in the product, if they are being awesome enough to let me keep it for it having so many shortcomings. After all, it's been 3 days and nothing was done about the home, and I've received my crowns back for the house. What harm can truly be done?

House is missing, crown items missing, crafted items missing, gold that was spent on house missing, crowns missing, AP that was spent on house missing, paintings missing, items bought with AP and gold missing, etc. WTF? WTF is this?

And after investing so much gold and crowns and other items into it, naturally it's going to mean something of value to me. Because clearly I just spent tons of time, cash, and gold on it. Why wouldn't I grow attached to it after doing so? Who'd think that something was going to be taken back days later after you get refunded for something? Let alone think that the creators of the product would take EVERYTHING placed in it away, and not give you back what you added to it or purchased for it?

I mean damn, even GameStop lets you keep any and all modded things you've added to your product if you trade it in or sell it. They don't just up and take everything. Especially side things you bought for it. Then again if you've paid for something and want to return it, they don't give you your money back or in-store credits while letting you keep the game for a few days. No. They take back the game upon reimbursing you. And GameStop is considered 1 of the most horrible and F'd up corporations worldwide.

Ohhhhh nooo my friend . ZoS does not give things for free after refunds . They do the opposite of that . They take it all back even if slow . You know this only can be resolved with more time and a support ticket now .

Ohhhhh nooo my friend . ZoS does not give things for free after refunds . They do the opposite of that . They take it all back even if slow . You know this only can be resolved with more time and a support ticket now .

So if that's the case, and they will not give things for free... Why couldn't I have at least kept the things I spent my in-game gold on? Or AP? Or crowns? Don't I at LEAST deserve a right to having all my funds restored, if not items? Who does this kind of crap? Seriously.

And after I received the refund of crowns upon logging in after being kicked (for what I'm guesssing was the reimbursement), was expecting the house to be gone. It wasn't. It wasn't gone on the 2nd of reimbursement either. Nor the third day. Making me say, "Okay... If ZOS is just going to let me keep it, I might as well deck it out and make it look more to my taste. After all, they gave me back my crowns but didn't take the product back after 3 days."

You are in a predicament for sure . Best to say exactly what occurred in the support ticket with an exact accounting of all items that were apart of the crown refund and wait for answers .

@Rohamad_Ali Dude... Do you know how many items that is to remember? I bought TONS of stuff. Tons. Hopefully ZOS has logs of everything, because it'd be impossible to remember even half of the things I got for it.

So you made an assumption that you got a free house? Rather than contact them and let them know there mistake or leave it be you just started filling up a house that wasn't yours with possessions? Turns out they didn't give you a free house and you were squatting in there. I would have thrown out your stuff too.
