Best Group content weapons = Solo Ironman Challenge?

Now hear me out, I'm not asking for VMA to be nerfed or for you to get VMA weapons from normal mode or anything like that. Some people really like solo content challenges. I'm not one of them is all. But what I'd like is for VDA destro staff and bow to not be so clearly outclassed by the VMA weapons, so that you can get a sidegrade BIS group content weapon.... from doing group content. The Master destructive staff gives half the spell damage that the VMA destructive staff gives, so in that case, there is no real alternative to the VMA destruction staff, the skill alteration is on a skill nearly universally used by magdps on their aoe bar, while destro touch is more of a niche thing, not as widely used. The bow eh.. some people may find the master bow an option because the skill alteration might be more desirable, even if it gives them half the weapon damage that the VMA staff gives.

Master weapon is an option for 2h because they're pretty similar just affect a different skill. Master Weapon is an option for Resto staff as well I hear, because the spell crit isn't as big of a deal usually.

For dual wield and 1h/shield you actually many other alternatives. The master weapons give the same weapon damage they just alter a different skill, though flurry may see more use than twin slashes, but also, because you have 2 weapons, and 3 jewelry, on top of your 2 monster helm/shoulder and 5 other armor pieces.. with dual wield and 1h/shield, completing a second 5 piece set is an option that might be more worthwhile than the master/maelstrom enchant.

That's not the case with 2h or staff or bow.. you can only get a 4 piece bonus which is always clearly inferior to what the VMA would give you.

again.. not asking for VMA to be nerfed in any way. just asking for a group content option to get a comparable staff or bow for group content.
