Class change token

I started with templar and i thought it would be a good build for stamina tanks but it is not actually that good. I really regret this decision after playing for months. I'm now champion level 251 and I am almost done with researching all the armor and weapon traits. I cant get a good stamina tank build in pve and I will pay anything for the sake of changing my class. Now that you can change your race, appearance, and alliance, why not class?

You can't change your alliance yet, and a class change will still be a chore since you will have to level the new class' skill trees from scratch, better rerol and have 2 different characters for different roles.

keep the first one as a crafter if you'd like since crafting will take so much skill points, you'll find a hard time actually getting skill points for your combat skills

But will they implement it anytime soon?

No, and the idea is generally frowned upon because then people will just reroll to the flavor of the month class.

But they aren't afraid of race change and other tokens that does similar things?

Idk about stanplar as tank, but magplars can be quite good. Much easier to switch over to magicka than start from scratch.

People who oppose class change for that reason usually are the same who opposed race change (and lost that battle).

I do not support a token that lets people change their class freely, although I won't whine in the forums if it is added. I do support a token that is added every time ZOS adds a new class, and that changes a character to that new class only while lowering the class skills progress back to zero.
Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.

    Meet my characters:
    Spoiler
    Command: Do the thing.

Zadarri, Khajiit Fist of Thalmor: The thing was done, as commanded.
Durza gra-Maghul, Orc blacksmith: The thing was done perfectly, in the most efficient way.
Tegwen, Bosmer troublemaker: You can't prove I didn't do the thing.
Sings-Many-Songs, Argonian fisher: Sure, I'll do the thing... Eventually. Maybe.
Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources.
Liliel, Dunmer pyromancer: Aerindel said I shouldn't do the thing. Something about "resources".
Gyda Snowcaller, Nord cryomancer: I will find a way to do it that won't waste resources and make Aerindel proud of me.
Beatrice Leoriane, Breton vampire: I persuaded someone else into doing the thing. You are welcome, dear.
Sahima, Redguard performer: Doing the thing sounds awfully unpleasant and really not my problem.
Ellaria Valerius, Imperial priestess: I'll pray to the Eight for the thing to be done, if it is Their will.

The race change tokens have very little effect on gameplay and the other tokens are purely cosmetic.

No such thing as beating a dead horse when it comes to a MMO.

Remember when people would say the same thing about ZOS adding more classes? I remember.

Correct, but a class change would have a far greater reach.

We're not just talking about racial passives (race change). We're now talking about changing all three skill lines and related passives.

I'm not altogether against the idea ... but players seem to forget how easy it is to reroll a new character up to level 50.

Oh how I wish that leveling to 50 was the only issue with rerolling...

At this point I have an end game operational toon of each class.

I am actually very upset with the lack of an ability to change an existing toon to a Warden. I have played the base game through 4 times, ground alliance points for vigor on four toons, skyshard hunted enough to have enough skill points to be functional end game, have meteor shower on four toons, fighter guild ya da ya da ya da.

I like the game but I have no desire to play through it again, no desire to spend a week in skyreach grinding to 50 and grinding skills and morphs, alliance points etc.

I would have liked a one time token with Morrowind with using going to happen. I haven't logged into the game in three days now and have no inclination to. I'm considering canceling my pre-purchase just because I don't want to do all the grindy parts again and just watching a playthorugh on twitch or you tube in June.

I think there's a disconnect between people who play to win and play for fun. Play to win sees it as min-maxing; play for fun sees it changing things to better fit your character, that's why the former is resentful and the latter confused at the opposition.

Personally, if you told me the only way to get a class change token was to create a new character and complete Cadwell's gold with him, then delete him, I would do it. It would be a chore, but worth it, even though it would be far more work than any other Warden would go through.

A "Class Change Token" is a great idea.
Reason: No technical, pretentious mumbo jumbo.
It's just common sense. Lots of profits. Highly requested feature.
-People change their class.. -so what. Not EVERYONE would. Some players like their character the way it is.
    -It's a game. Take a chill pill.
