I think if you guys are considering removal of champion points for good, after this week.
I don't think it should be removed. Something better could be done.
Such as

More pvp campaigns. Maybe 1 or 2.
Less maximum players per faction in a campaign.

I heard xbox gets a mex 500 per?
I do not know for pc. Maybe 300?

I just believe we should lower nax player amount per faction for pvp, & make another campaign.
We do have Azuras Star for a no champion point campaign. But NA, we have
1 no cp. 30d
1 cp. 30d.
& then haderus & bwb.

Less people, less lag.

Edit: an idea came to mind. If more campaigns. Make a campaign for just imperial city maybe

    I would rather fight more people with less lag than less people with more lag.. ZoS originally designed cyrodiil to have massive faction vs faction battles.. If removal of CP achieves that so be it..

    Im lag spiking as I have before with champion points.
    I just experienced a picture slideshow type of lag in pvp.

    PvP is still laggy if not laggier now. + LONG loading screens. I'd say, buy some new decent servers = problem solved.

    Got to agree, hordes of people have gone into pvp and it's as laggy as ever if not worse. I think it's the population not the CP

    Champion points only increases lag a bit but removal did not help.
    It is the population. The zergs.
    300-500 per faction.
    400/400/400.

    All pop locked. That would be the lag.

    Imperial City should have its own campaign & be like 100 - 100 - 100 each faction & if you queue for it, you instantly teleport to imperial city.

    Yeah, Removing CP from pvp makes it boring tbh.

    As for the AP increase. That I do love. But removing cp. No.
    There is still lag, people still troll tanking as well as one shot ganking which is bs.

The campaigns are way too over crowded, its no wonder they generate so much lag and cause system crashes I'm not saying that loads of players in a map is not fun, it is fun but there has to be a smaller limit to how many players can enter. I have got fiber (since last week it was finally installed in my area!) I now have 38mbs and I still get system crashes with ESO and server breaks, this was me moving from a 1.5mbps speed. Oh yes. Dial up speeds ;)

    Yes, this is why they removed CP to test, if they find its CP they can identify the error and fix it.
    its very hard to find performance bugs in an complex system.
    Grinding just make you go in circles.
    Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

    They have never stated that they are even considering a widespread removal of CP. Why on earth would they remove this ? They NEED to have some sort of progression.

    Don't understand how so many people are interpreting this weeks test in PvP, into "Hey, maybe we are removing them".

    They are testing how PvP performs without CP, to finally be able to conclude wether or not they are good/bad for performance. They will then use this information to tweak how their servers handles and computes CP related calculations. That's it.

    Just look at NA servers. Trueflame is always over crowded. Today i had actually been in queue at 144. That is a long af line to be in pvp.
    There should be 1 more 30d campaign in pvp. Maybe 2
    & less people. But yeah. More people. More fun but when there is like 100 man zergs running around, thats just to much lag.

    The no CP is ok. I don't love it nor do I hate. I personally prefer CP. However I'm curious how far ZOS was planning on taking CP in PVP. I don't think we should have much more than 600 to use. I think where we are now at 600 CP in PvP is good.

    600 champion points for a max is good, Shouldn't be increased any further now.

    Personally, I think CP should either be removed from PvP entirely, or reworked.
    And by reworked, I mean into something more horizontal rather than vertical. You can't simply allow folks to become more and more and more powerful and call it progression, but still achieve any semblance of balance.

    What would make more sense is a horizontal system with more choice, less power.
    Let us pick and mix passives from other skill lines or even abilities, or even entirely new ones.

    At this point, the old VR system (pre-CP VR) was easier to balance and felt better in PvP.

    I was in some of the biggest fights I've been involved in, in a long time last night and didn't lag at all.

    Maybe you could try not running the game on a potato?

    I agree, I am sure there maybe other factors, but my guild had a large force in TF last night all of them said a little lag when some of the zerg groups were around but over all much improved, I am sure zos is watching the server performance they know when they have server lag.

    We don't need more campaigns on Xbox NA they got rid of 2 because they sat empty most of the time anyways also spreading out your player base isn't always the best option

    I won't pvp or play eso if they get rid of CP all together there's no reason to play an MMO without some type of post max level character development this mmo doesn't have any post level 50 advancement beyond CP this game would get old and stale so quick.

    I would argue that, for a real PvPer, PvP for the sake of PvP is the endgame. There's no need for any progression gimmicks to keep us interested. And while it is nice to be rewarded for time invested, it shouldn't be to the point that newer players die when you sneeze in them, because each fight is its own reward, but if you drive new players away with your immense, veteran-player power...

    I'm looking forward to CU.
    The generally amicable yet sporadically salty magplar that may or may not have 1vXed you in Sotha Sil. Who knows?
