What do you do while you're stuck in "seemingly" indefinite loading screen?

Now that i have time, i think i should learn to speak chinese.
Or train for marathon run.

Any ideas what to do while waiting?

I play in windowed mode and I usually have at least one internet tab open, so I'll start the game up and carry on with whatever I was doing online until I get to the login screen, log in, switch back to the internet, pick a character, back to the internet. I only focus on the game once it's fully loaded in.

On the rare occasions it doesn't seem to be working I'll just shut the game down and start it up again and that seems to sort it.

Hit menu button and quit the app on Xbox one.
Go do something else cause usually the server is coming down soon

Xbox Error 304 - Quit and play GTA V. But seriously that is what I do when that infinite loading screen persists which it has at least a couple times a day for me since the latest update.

Quit app, logon alt, logoff alt and relog original character

I have an alt that is used for only this purpose.

Likewise here. Sometimes if I have chores to do, I'll make a little progress on those instead.

If it takes more than 20 seconds to load, I Force Quit, bang my head against the log in screen a couple of times, play on.
