4, FOUR times in 2 days, REALLY?

So, servers are down for "maintenance" again, for the fourth time in two days. Are you kidding me ZOS? What exactly do you do with my $20 every month from eso+? Go out clubbing? Order in some escorts?

I left 6 months ago due to massive technical issues. I decided to come back Friday, and I come back to:
- ALL the same tech issues that were here six months ago
- Now almost 1/2 of my quest npc are under the world, so I have to relog constantly
- Server down time is out of control

Does anyone at ZOS ever wonder how/why WoW was/is so successful? Here are two pieces of advice based on their success:

1 in app purchase models suck. That simple, they suck. I hate this stupid crown store. Just get rid of all the *** and charge me monthly and let me unlock everything IN GAME. WoW would be gone by now if they used this *** model. No one likes to have to pay real money for 1/2 of the stuff in the game. Not to mention the fact that even if you do subscribe to eso+, it's still nowhere near enough to unlock all the things in the crown store. I'm not a millionaire, just let me find and loot everything in the game, and change eso+ to a monthly subscription. Part of the joy of WoW is that if you want something, you may have to work for it, but it is IN THE GAME.

2 WoW had issues too, lots of them, especially after patches. But here is the golden nugget of this point; THEY FIXED ISSUES AS THEY AROSE. Point two is simple, they fixed their stuff when it broke.

TL;DR
Get rid of the crown $$$ wall, it's stupid, only Korean *** games flourish with these setups.
FIX YOUR *** ZOS. The game has sooo many bugs, general issues, and performance problems. Fix them finally. If that means better servers, $$$, then see point one. This isn't a crappy fly by night Korean game. This game is good, far and away good enough to survive and flourish with a change over to monthly subscription. Yes, with monthly sub, you will lose some f2p folks, but guess what, if they don't pay for eso+, the majority don't buy much in crown store anyway. So the people you lose aren't making you money anyway. The people you keep will be mostly those already paying monthly anyway, and in the long run it will be a stronger community and you will end up making more money. WoW is still sub based, and they have been going for years now, and still have millions of subs.
Fix *** and get rid of the crown ***, easy fix to this game.

I agree. They said the servers would be down at 4:00 AM EST on 2/27. Yet, at 10 PM EST last night. I got stuck in a loading screen loop and tried to re-log. It said servers were down for maintenance. When I checked a few hours earlier today it said all servers were up. So I came home and boom they are down again. If they are going to close servers at least give us a heads up. This is almost as bad when the game launched. remember that mess?

I was in Maelstrom last night (stage 8) in the middle of a fairly solid run when they took the servers down for maintenance.

Figured, no big deal, was in the middle of that stupid Sunday leaderboard cooldown anyway, not worried about the score, I'll get back in and finish in 10 minutes tomorrow so I can get that 37th Powered Mace that I just can't live without.

Well, here we are in tomorrow. Logged in, ported to Maelstrom ... and I'm back on stage 1.

So there's ~40 Weapon Power potions and 40 minutes of my life down the drain. Sweet.

Since Homestead dropped, vMoL is broken again, vMA is back to its old ways (lag, visual bugs like the circle under the stage 4 boss not appearing and the ice platforms not disappearing when broken on stage 5, crash to dashboard between stage 5 and 6), vHRC is broken again, and vAA, while playable, has been a DC-fest complete with bugs that should have been fixed long ago (like the cleanse visual not showing on the first boss, characters floating away on the last boss, etc.).

And then they communicate that they're bringing the server down today ... in the *general discussion* forum. Not the maintenance forum, not the XBox support forum ... the *general discussion* forum. Which states that they will post an announcement in the maintenance forum ... which never got posted.

Now pair that all up with the absolutely knuckle-headed "we balance DPS around single-target damage hurr durr durr" nonsense, the death of my stam toons, and the BS explanation of the Major Force nerf that I've asked for a clarification on 57 times, the half-baked $20 target skeletons ... I'm just burnt out on this crap.
