Master Writs: I'm confused

So I have a master crafter, I know every motif except: drauger, yokodan, silken ring, muzzitun, and ebony. I know 9 traits for everything, and know all of the alchemy traits as well as the enchanting ones, I rarely if ever find a recipe I don't know, and the biggest master writ I've received is for 6 writs.

Is there something I'm missing? I've been seeing people get 200+master writs.

It depends on the writ, if it requires you to make something legendary, you will receive more vouchers.

The chance of getting a writ is influenced by your motif knowledge, achievements etc, once you have received one, the contents of that writ is completely random, and thus can vary widely (value based on set, style and rarity)

Looks like you are getting master writs, though.

With the resume your master crafter has, it won't be long until a large equipment writ comes through ...

I did a legendary glyph this morning. Got a whopping 6 vouchers.

working as intended. Unfortunately, ZOS is taking a red hot poker up the arse of every master crafter right now, so do not hold your breath on this changing any time soon. They love their mindless loot systems- RNG

If you are just doing writs on one toon, unfortunately your sample size is really small. I do level 50 writs on 9 toons, but the amount of research and motif knowledge varies from 0 to just about all and everything in between. I have not seen one of the jaw dropping 200+ vouchers, but I have seen 70+ come from just about every toon. Alchemy, provisioning and Enchanting never get close to that high, but those are the ones I see by far the most of.

I think the lesson is that if you really want to take advantage of the system, you need multiple toons doing writs. I have never gone a day without getting a writ. I have ranged from 2 to 200ish on any given day. All praise RNGesus. I really encourage leveling enchanting and Alchemy and learning all the runes and reagents. This seems to help immensely in getting a steady supply.

I don't believe that's the case so quite a few with every motif + all 9 traits not getting anything at all for the past weeks.

Took me 15 days to get 1 motif on my main master crafter
(All Motifs besides 9 pages of Akaviri, 15-20 more traits to go though)

The enchanting/provisioning/alchemy do not give that much, I should of noted that. When I said legendary I was meaning armor and weapons.

I have obviously done something very very bad in this or a past life as RNGesus does nothing but punish me.

Have 3 max level crafters. And the master writs I have so far got have been either for a rare motif I dont have or the one trait I don't have. So going to take me at least 20-odd days to complete one of the writs and that's only when I either buy or get a guildie to craft item for me & can research it. Very discouraging. But that's my luck. Or rather lack of it.

(That's why I never gamble & am not tempted by the crates. No point. I know I will get nothing I want. Omly rubbish. )
