I'm not sure because I remember seeing somewhere that you can't join the Morag Tong only work along side them.

Don't remember where I saw that info though, sorry.

I believe they mentioned no new skill lines outside of what the Warden class will get on an episode of ESO Live or in an article with either Matt or Rich.

You probably read it here: blog.uesp.net/index.php/2017/02/22/more-eso-morrowind-info

The link says also we won't get additional skills beside the class skills from warden. I couldn't even think of something worth adding to a morag tong line that isn't already in the db skill line.

Maybe some active skills that are missing? But ZOS is lazy.

Yeah, i'm talking about active and passive abilities (as we see in Fighter's guild or Mage's guild.

Would love to join Morag Tong, because I always felt that they are superior to DB.

Yes, Morag tong feels more like the assassin guild in discworld, DB is crazy cultists.

Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

The Morag Tong are a very closed group who don't let just any riff raff into their organisation ;)

Sad to hear... I was certain that Morag Tong will get it's own skill line? Why? Because after all there is one think worth adding... stealth  Both Dark Brotherhood and Thieves Guild gives us sneaking missions, but they didn't deliever adequate skills ;) Besides... stealing had global skill line (Legermain), but stealth don't  so if you ain't Nightblade or Vampire, DB/TG daily can be painful ;)

Anybody else feel it is weird we help the morag tong? I mean, we are already in the DB, so technically they should kill us....

    Indeed. However...

    ...this.

Also, the Morag Tong are pretty morrowind-centristic at this and later times in tamriel, while the brotherhood is more widespread... so it makes a lot of sense for it not to be a player-eligable group, due to lore and such.

    Some characters are, some aren't.
The story has to work with both types, so... I expect it will be more of a "private subcontractor/ally to/of a morag tong contact" kind of thing... Naryu and the colloaboration we engaged with her in Deshaan, Eastmach and possibly Gold Coast comes to mind, yes?

So we are forced by game mechanics to join the DB to get the assassin skill line. even if we are completely opposed to the DB? Peachy

I wasn't happy when Naryu pointed out the error of my ways - I wanted to say "But I get the DLC because I subscribe, I might as well play it... I really wanted to be in the Morag Tong, honest!" but I didn't think she'd understand.

Last time we met she wanted to share a bubble bath with me, now she thinks I'm a deluded religious nut, and I feel embarrassed :(

I would love Morag Tong, they are a legal guild of assassins and agents. They have legal meaningful contracts.

DB is just a bunch of cultists that I'd rather destroy than join them.

Well, all in all, the Morag Tong are legal Dunmer assassins. If you had the Dark Brotherhood DLC, I believe that you could do a pretty good Morag Tong assassin build with a Dark Elf Nightengale in a Naryu costume that uses the Blade of Woe. I mean if you COULD join them, and they had skill line, I think that it wouldn't stray so far from the Dark Brotherhood skill line.

If you did that, the Wrath of Sithis would be inevitable and you would be in constant fear and paranoia. If you played the DLC, you know what happened to the Black Dragon...

That was kinda creepy to be honest. Not the quest itself, but the fact that once you joined DB, theres no coming back, and you cant break up with this cult... Even in death. Even if you repent and serve the gods.
Idk, it was just really dark compared to other ESO quests. Most of them feel light-hearted even in they involve murder haha.

The exact same thing can be said of the Thieves Guild, or any other guild really. And if you want the ever popular vigor and caltops, you need to spend some time in PvP land. Game mechanics are what they are, and are unlikely to change much.
