Zenimax,
I just want to say thank you for the recent gameplay updates that have been made to this game. I've invested a considerable amount of time into this game, and this has got to be the best patch so far. There are a few changes, that were left out of the patch notes, that I particularly enjoy.
Trials have been made more interesting this patch with some added mechanics. As I primarily raid, this has been most enjoyable. The mechanic that prevents 1 or more people from swapping bars adds a nice degree of difficulty that was previously missing from the trials. Also, the mechanic that will randomly selects 4+ people to freeze or disconnect in a fight has been educational. It's called for a more firm sense of teamwork between my group. As we'll never know who might be the lucky ones chosen. It's also been fun placing wagers on whom might get picked in a given run. Some are more lucky than others.
Next change on the list, is the new system that regulates a player's gameplay. As I said, I've invested a lot of time in the game. However, recently I've been thinking that perhaps I need to take a step back, and reduce my time in-game. Well, ZOS is one step ahead, as usual. With this new system, I don't have to worry about playing too much. It regulates my gameplay for me. I do think a better name than "Error 304" could have been chosen, though.
Now, for the RP in me, this next one tugged at my heart strings. Lag, in certain areas, has been dialed up so that everything seems to move at half speed or more. It's random, so it's hard to plan for it. When it does happen, I grab a drink, sit back, and play out the scene like I'm watching an old, independently produced, stop motion film.
All in all, this patch is great, and appeals to several aspects of gameplay that I enjoy. I can't wait to see what comes next.
