How does the dungeon finder work?

I've been trying to queue random dungeons for an hour now but when I get into a group I don't know what to do. I read that I should be ported to the dungeon, but I am not. Usually people leave after a few seconds of me not getting in the dungeon.

Could someone explain how this random dungeon finder works and what I'm supposed to do after the group is formed and roles are confirmed? Thanks!

Dungeon finder works very badly!!

Once you are slotted for a group, you get asked if you are ready. Once you select 'yes' you will not see the group, just a small list of the 4 roles indicating which ones have/have not said they are ready. Once everyone has clicked 'yes', you should have a few seconds wait and then get ported in.

I think that is how it is supposed to work, only done two dungeons myself and had a lot of trouble on the first one with group members not showing up, not getting re-queued, etc.

Not sure why you are having issues, i queued for a dungeon today on xbox and got in no problem. I know when the roles are confirmed it should just take you in no matter what you are doing from my understanding...If it doesnt you could just go to the social window select the player in your group and teleport to them and that should get you there.

Random dungeon seems broken just today, done them fine 2 days before.
Today it just queued up, then everyone accepted, it says forming group, and never port us to any dungeon, waited over 5 min after it says forming group.
Tried twice, didn't work, please look into fixing ZOS.

Just now I got into a group and nobody was teleported in for around 5 minutes then we all got messages saying the dungeon was ready. Upon accepting this message nothing happened, but the other three players were in a dungeon. I teleported in using the social option but by that time people had already quit. Not sure what's up.
