Got chucked out then error message when tried to log in again. Closed everything again waited a bit & got as far as being able to choose char but then long loading screen again so closed game. Now error message again. Have closed & will try again
Not happy as had to oust teenager from ps4 so I could have a turn......they find it highly amusing and instant karma....1 -

The world has turned on it's head. When i was little, you got punished by being grounded, now you're punishing them by making them go out or moving them away from their PC/consoles/tablets. The only way to proper punish my kids is to take their gadgets off them. However, I'm never sure who's the one actually being punished. Me/wife or the kids.0 -

Yes the removal of gadgets seems to be the one thing that works. But mine do manage to get out & about & still do stuff with me so can't really complain. But yes having them off their devices can be a mixed blessing!
If their father had his way they would not know what a console or laptop was - I try & explain to them the only reason they have them is because of me & my love of gaming. But then they think my playing ESO is sad & the game rubbish (even tho both loved Skyrim) - keep threatening to play For Honour just to annoy them!Edited by Hallothiel on February 26, 2017 5:30PM1 -

We do a lot of outdoor stuff too or as much as can be done in rainy Scotland, but for the first 30mins, it's my daughter (9 year old) that's sulky for the first 30mins or so. We took her console off her for a few weeks as she was becoming addicted and couldn't talk about anything other than minecraft. Now she gets an hour per night on school days and 2 hours per day at the weekend or holidays. She has to use a laptop daily now as all her homework is done via google classroom.1 -
