Made 1kk in selling furniture plans. Total farming time probably around 3-4 hours, got 200-300 green; 50 blue, 4 purple and around 900 decorative vax.

Considering that on first day of Homestead I was selling vax for 400 coins, now the average is 227, I am selling for 200...
Green plans went from 5k to 1.2k max
Blues went from 25k to 6-10k max
Purple went from 150-200k to 30-65k max

Still have not sold everything

Not selling super well these days but that's because I try to get rid of various stuff that's less valuable.

Purple motifs, recipes, paintings, furniture and other housing stuff seems to sell within a day or two.

For the first time ever in 3 years I started to steal in ESO I use to farm mats to refine then sell gold tempers but the gold is just not there or worth doing rn. Now I can spend the same time searching homes for the blueprints and I'm banking out like crazy just today I got 2 purples sold for 45k each 10 blues sold about 10k each and 15 greens sold for 3k each not bad for 2 hours of farming plus I got a a master writ sold for 250k. Just need to switch to what the people are buying and you can make pletty of gold.

There are already a damn lot of gold faucets in the game, this is the first meaningful sink since Guild Traders and I am very happy for it to help balance the economy.

The price of gold tempers and raw mats has plummeted, which pisses me off. But it's been offset with the introduction of furniture mats, as well as the increase in price to purple tempers. I do envy my console friends though who can make a million gold a day selling tempers at those ridiculous console market prices.

My dreugh wax isn't moving nor are my alloys. And I sell mine cheapish.

Either your trader location sucks or your prices suck. Make sure you are pricing using the 3-day master merchant average. My waxes/alloys sell within minutes of posting.

If your trader is off the beaten path, it will take longer to sell, but it should still sell relatively quickly if you are at or below MM price. Players will find your listings using TTC. It's a bit of a bigger problem on console though since people can't use TTC (nor do sellers have MM to know what the market price is).

I'm guessing most people would have spent 80% of their in game gold to purchase their home, that's a lot of money gone out of the in game economy and into ZOS's hands.

Where would those money flow back into the economy from ZOS?
I mean we're basically all poor now.

They wouldn't. We needed to get some money out of the economy. A lot of people were running around with 4-5 million gold if you played on the regular, and a few were sitting on several hundred millions.

You're not supposed to have as much gold as you had prior to this patch; it means that the gold sinks in the game weren't big enough.

If they increase the drop rates on everything that doesn't mean we will get more gold; it just means that items will lose value - that is pretty basic economic knowledge.

In regards to you not being able to sell; guess you're pricing items too high or selling items that are not in demand. A lot of people are making big amounts of gold right now because they know how to play the market.

The economy is better than ever because people are spending their funds instead of hording them. The principles that govern real life economy can also be applied to in game economies.

    sales are fine

whenever i see a sale i go "oh crap now o have to go craft again so they won't throw me out of the guild". i got thrown out of a craglorn guild this week. once you have over 1mil gold then what is the point of making more? ( said the guy with 3 rows of legendary staves)

i make my monies in craglorn and elden root. it's all i need. shezlaka can sell everything if the price is right. adjust your prices, look what sells in mm and profit.

tempers, nirn and kutas are so cheap atm.
2500 for crux? less then 3k for a kuta?

i'd buy a house in coldharbor. just to fill it with cheese and books.

haha Yea not nearly as many people in Rawl / reapers march since housing came out + craglorn farming for motifs.. That's a good thing though, too many BS games so called top end trade guilds engaged in like one guild who I wont mention that enjoys buying a 2nd trade slot with an empty sales selection.. They do that just to mess with another guild from getting a spot ..

So seeing stuff like population dispersing makes me get a chuckle..

Problem Is I believe more people are on consoles now than the PC that's why its dropping from the looks of it

1m didn't cover the cost of all my motif costs, was more like 5-7m in total around cause when I came back I only had 1.0 motifs, and now everything besides 9 pages of akaviri

I relented and joined my first trading guild 5 days ago (been playing since open beta with a 5 month break), and the guild insisted I had master merchant installed

In those 5 days, without even trying, just putting some of my items up at slightly less than master merchants average, I've made over 600K.

bearing in mind I've never had that much more than 100K in my possession ever since playing, I really cant believe how easy it is to make money, will be at the million mark easily by the end of this week.

Don't know whether that would be an improvement from a few weeks/months ago, or a reduction. Either way, I'm more than happy.

Getting undercut as hell means there is a large influx of bots/chinese gold farmers.

EDIT: Also, homestead brought in a MASSIVE deflation by gold sinks, so it makes sense that stuff costs less now, because gold is worth more (temporarily).
