Set and Monster Sets that summons pets

Hopefully delvs will read this (others are welcomes too)

I want to talk about sets that summons pets: Morkuldin, Maw of the Infernal, Shadowrend

Morkuldin and Maw of the Infernal unlike Shadowrend proc from Light and Heavy Atks and chance is only 10%.
In 5min battle (Target Skeleton) it procs 3-5 times only (it was less then 1% of DPS other DDs Monster Sets make 3-7%) and it sad. I know this sets not "mainstream" but they fun to use.

Question is - can u make all 3 of them proc from ANY atks with 10% chance like almost of others DDs Monster Sets (or atleast 5% like Shadowrend)
and about Shadowrend you made it mag oriented (1st stat mag regen) then why Clanfear make phys dmg? And it make less base dmg then Morkuldin and Maw of the Infernal (but proc more often).

Now when you made thats all sets cant make criticle dmg i think thats this sets should be boosted to be comparable to others (or atleast Morkuldin because it 9 trait set and should be atleast good as others)

How dare you ask that these sets only try and be comparable!

I agree, they need buffs. Back in the day, a sorc running Prey and having Maw hit EVERY time, the dps was only slightly less than skoria pre buff.

    Now it's substantially less.

The only really viable set summoned pet is the Mork Sword. It hits very hard and scales to stamina (taking advantage of the CP trees as well)

Can they (the summoned creatures) still critically hit, I would assume so?

Anyway, Prey +Mork was the only cool set up I found

Maw of the infernal is pretty powerful in an heavy attack build with a lightning staff. Procs all the time in vMA when I use it for fun.

I'd like to see the duration refresh when it procs, so you can keep it active in longer fights.

Sorry, I was thinking strickly in PvP terms. I've never tried it in PvE.

I re-built my pet magsorc I am loving it. I have been trying different monster sets to find out which work the best for me.

I have found the Shadowrend set hits like a truck in PVP and PVE............when it procs, plus it suits my whole undead zookeeper vibe ive got going on at the moment.

I find Maw is very clunky in PVP and duels but it procs easily in PVE. I just find the damage is still underwhelming, its just fun watching a giant fire breathing daedra run around chasing some poor soul

Morkuldin and maw will proc off of overload attacks too. Heavy overload attack a mob of enemies and within 2-3 ticks they will both spawn. Also, lightning and resto staff heavy attacks have the best chance of spawning them.

I tried running morkuldin and maw in vMA the other day but the game kept crashing when the Maw was summoned so I switched to shadowrend.

If the maw is going to stay so weak the least they could do is to make it a permanent summons.
