Soulshine + Lightning/Resto Heavy Attacks?

Does the bonus damage of a "channeled attack" from the Soulshine set count towards Lightning and Restoration staff heavy attacks? I'm thinking 5 pc. Soulshine + 5 pc. Netch's Touch while using a Lightning staff on an Altmer DK.

I would suggest testing it though it does say abilities. What is the definition of ability.

The same may apply for Netch's Touch since it does say abilities.

If you are planning a heavy attack build, which is fine for AoE, Infallible Aether adds 900 damage to your heavy attack. Soul Shine does not benefit any Sorc skills that I know of.

Frags is only cast or channeled ability for a sorc and is best used on proc since the instant cast does more damage and costs less anyhow. Probably more damage than hard casting them. Also hard casting frags is the best way to not be invited back to a group.

The only class I can think of that Soulshine can work ok with is a templar. Jabs, dark flare and RO both benefit from that set, however no other skill they use does.

They're a heavy attack as you said yourself, not a channel. So no (afaik)
