Stolen Placeables

Anyone else find a few house furniture items via stealing? I found some papers and a quill that can be laundered and placed in your house. Very exciting, hoping for more stuff.

Also had an idea for furniture placing, being able to scale items to some extent would be really cool (unless I missed how and you already can) sp that you can stretch items to fit areas to a small extent.

I found an orc carpet that was placeable in my house! That made my day. Looks nice, too. It's red and shaped like a long rectangle. I later noticed the same rug in the keep in Orsinium.

I've also found a stack of paper, a letter and ink, as well as the quill.

Oh, and I found a painting in a treasure chest.

I've pickpocketed bread and fish from slaves in Kragenmoor, and I've found paper somewhere (I've no idea where), but I accidentally fenced those :C

It's so hardwired in to my brain to steal then fence that I haven't even paid attention to this...I will from now on though!

I found some sheets that were in the supplies menu, but as they were categorised as furniture, I thought that they were furniture. I was very sad when I realised that I couldn't place them.

How do you tell that a stolen item is a furnishing item? I don't think I've found any yet, but I get nervous that I'm fencing such an item because I don't know for sure how it will be marked.

I've found 2 letters (kept 1 sold the other) and an ink well. I also caught a fish that could be placed in a house.

I've started checking for furnishings (and other things I want to launder) when I go to the Fence and sorting those out before I sell anything.

LOL. Yeah, there have been a couple of times when I started selling stuff to fences without checking it thoroughly, then half-way through, I realize "oh, wait ... maybe I should be checking those things before selling them."

Found my first blue furnishing item today while looting, Signed Contract. Pages and feathers seem pretty common in stolen loot.

I found a personal letter and not much else...then again I haven't been stealing much lately.

A simpler method I use is to click the 'Furniture' tab when you're in the Fence's screen; that will display all the placeable items. Launder or sell as desired.

I'm thinking its about a 1% or less drop rate.
I have stolen hundreds of items and only gotten two stolen furnishing items. So they are rare for sure.

One is an Axe to be used for a forge crafting station decoration, the other is a quill.

You seem to be able to steal related items to the victims occupation.

I read from some PTS testing thread, the legendary item: wanted poster, [race][gender] ("Bounty sheet, Argonian male").
Fishing rods from fishermen. Bread from beggars - and liquor from drunkards, mushrooms from alchemist.. probably a lot more.

I got mine from a drunkard.

Hmm, I wonder if Almalexia's Lantern could become a house item. I mean, you can place trophies, no? And when you first acquire it, you have both the memento and the "useless" trophy. Least I did set the bass I got from fishing on my bar, lol.

to answer my own question:

from a beggar I killed. I am a bad person

actualy I am afraid I had more furniture but maybe dustman deleted those.. however its actually good in sorting per type.. I disabled it for stolen items.. just to be sure

Yeah, finding stolen placeables always makes my day! Love it! And you can fish and catch placeable fish. I made customer wall trophies for my fish.

Most are; from what I've - ahem - acquired so far, fishing rods are the only things I've seen which are white quality.
