Warden? Pfff... A class with PETS ughh...
No thanks, I'll play on one of my mains... I probably never touch Wardens unless the pets are demonstrably not needed for Wardens to be playable/effective.I hate pets
When the Morrowind expansion finally arrives, should I first play it with my current character (an Imperial Nightblade) or with a newly-created Warden?
On the one hand, my Imperial Nightblade has been my only TESO character thus far since April 2014 (he'll be hitting Lvl 50 soon), so should he simply continue on the adventure into Morrowind? Besides, if I started a new character there, wouldn't he just go through the same thing all over again once he hits the mainland?
On the other hand, I've always preferred playing as a Male Human Ranger in every fantasy-based game that I've ever played (I had to settle on playing as a Human Warrior in WoW until Humans could finally be Hunters in Cataclysm, after which I've hardly played the Warrior anymore). From what I'd heard, the Warden is the closest TESO has to a Ranger.
So which of the two should I experience the expansion with for the first time?

Pet, singular, the warden only has one pet and it's an ultimate.
I'll be making a warden as my new main, personally. Wanted that kind of character since launch.

Hmm... Are you sure, I thought I heard something about some ability calling the aid of a creature, and that wasn't the bear ulti... but maybe I heard wrong.
In any case, it doesn't interest me enough to jump on the warden train... I'll probably make a warden at some point in the next two years, though
I still haven't played my magicka nightblade enough, and haven't played any stamina build seriously either... no point in rushing with another char at launch.

Also a cliff racer, a haj mota, a bull netch, and fletcher flies. A couple of those might just be visual effects for more traditional skills, but from the description the bull netch is an actual pet, even if the others aren't.

Yeah, that's my point. And even with the cliff racer we don't know if it's just a visual for a spammable attack (although that's likely) or if it's actually considered a pet just like NB shades are.Did it show all of the skills in that skill line?leepalmer95 wrote: »What's your source for them not being pets?jasonthorpeb14_ESO wrote: »Warden? Um, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the CP cap isn't 561 anymore. It increased to 600 with Homestead.Llaren_Uvayn wrote: »If I reach 561 Champion Points before Morrowind drops I'll probably it as a Warden. Otherwise my main will probably be the first to see Vvardenfell.
