"Xanadu" Argonian Xanmeer

After spending many hours on my aptly named "Xanadu" (Stay-Moist Mansion), I have finished my Xanmeer. I have been posting the construction of said house in the community forums. However as was pointed out, more people will see it in the General Discussion, and perhaps Zenimax will take note. This house has all 600/600 used, and it includes 146 Argonian Inscribed Tiles, and over 200 Dark Brick Blocks in its construction. All tiles were agonisingly aligned sometimes into the teens, my hope is in the near future Zenimax give us snap tool, and an addition to the alignment with ground, another button which gives a perfect 90 degree angle on all sides button we can use. My also hopes that we see walls, ceilings, stairs etc. (basically more structures), in various stone colours, which not only can be used outside but also indoors. With no watchtower, Stay-Moist didn't have a view so I created one, which gives me a view of the waterfall descending down to the Hatching Pools and the Hist Tree.







Inside the mansion I intentionally did not place a lot of furniture, as I have reserved the space to do duelling, as it is round and a line of sight obstruction makes for good duelling.

Did you craft those tiles yourself or have someone do it for you? Either way, how'd you get the craft mats to make that many tiles? If I remember correctly, the tile is a purple plan, so each one would've been a good bit of mats.

awwwww damn - I was sooo focused (and slightly annoyed by the relatively disappointing offerings) on getting my alik'r housing, that I didn't even look at the available argonian housing - just figured it'd all be variations on mud-huts - if I'd have realized that they actually had one of the aztec-ish temples as a housing option...mmmmm...mmmmmmmmm

sounds like you did a nice job - that tree in the center I take it was dropped in by you and isn't standard in the home - I appreciate you like it for dueling, but I would've gone a different way - but the if the interior space matches that stone temple motif on your next-to-last photo...mmmmmm...that's some sweet argonian housing I may just have to look into

They don't. @Asmon built it from scratch over the top of a mud hut. That's what makes it so amazing.

Thanks for all the comments guys/gals. To answer some queries, the tile is a Praxis recipe, aptly named Argonian Tile, Inscribed, cost me 250k just for the recipe, probably over paid, but is the backbone of the construction. Materials required are 12 mundane runes, 8 regulus, 8 alchemical resins, 3 rekuta, and 15 flint, lets just say they cost me a lot, I was visiting every guild vendor across tamriel looking for the cheapest I could get them, mundane runes alone set me back around 450k. I bought the mansion furnished via crowns, and sunk another 1000 crowns on trees (large tree at front is a willow) and minor items, I would say as a estimate, would have have cost me about 1.2 million in gp to build.

My plan was to build the inside stones also, however with the limitations on items, I simply didn't have enough allocations, before I even started putting furniture down I was at 530, that included all the tiles, blocks, trees and boulders. Course if Zenimax wants to be generous and give me the Earthtear Cave for free, I would most likely dismantle the entire xanmeer and move it to the cave, as the cave is a flat and open I could build all sides, and work on the inside easier.

As for doing a video, i am working on one atm, not being that technical, it may be a few weeks at the earliest. Will inform once it's done. For now, I am just farming the above mats, as if I rebuild it, going to need another 50+ tiles. Here is hoping we see walls and some other simple structures for 100 gp on the home furnisher become available soon.

Im in the same jorney as you, not building something so fabulous (its inside the gorinir state) but i want a little argonian temple.
So far i have built 30 tiles and flint started to become a problem lol

Very awesome what you did here. This would be the first time I'd spend crowns when I could buy Xanmeer.
But sadly I think it will never make it into the game so I should save money to build my own Xanmeer
