Getting snared

While I'm well away from red circles I still get snared and slowed down a lot.

Are you taking hits from enemies behind you? If you're struck from behind it will snare you.

nope, an example is I'd hit a mob of zombies in front of me from long range and when they all drop I'm still snared.

I'm going to venture a guess that your post is worthless as a bug report. There is no detail at all and it could be referring to anything in the game.

Something to note is many monsters' first attack is a snare, so... yeah.

This as well really (I didn't even notice this was in bug reports, I thought it was a general question).

For a bug report you need to give as much information as you can even if it seems unimportant, as well as listing it in a way which isn't cluttered with any kind of useless rambling/ranting (not that you did).

Where did it happen?
What were you fighting (we now know zombies).
What was your character doing?
What skills were involved?
What system were you on?

Most important one, can you reproduce this and if so how?
