You don't know what awaits you, little padawan...
Soon or later, playing as unsubscriber, this game will become an awful pain in the back since you don't have access to a base game feature, such as the Craft Bag

Note: Don't worry about the craft bag unless you want to be a crafter.

Yes, if you want to ignore crafting materials all the way, craft bag is not necessary.
Ah, crafting and crafting materials are a huge slice of the game.

Thats why I think craft bags on sub only was the stupidest idea ever. But in general you can still play without it, it just much more annoying

Crafting bag is not a base game feature. Wasn't there at launch. It's a perk for subbing.
The base game patch also features an abundance of new features including Poison-Making as an extension of the Alchemy system, improvements to item set Traits, more enhancements to the Grouping Tool, nameplates, item locking, an extended crafting inventory (Craft Bag) for ESO Plus members, and more. And, of course, the highly anticipated removal of Veteran Ranks.
Farmed sets are arguably just as good, if not better.
Just sayin'
