Big problem with templar [experience ruined][please fix]

Hello everyone, I am under lots of stress today
Since homestead i cannot pvp the way I usually do when I join my ad guild, and we go and use radiant at all, people are far more resistant to it now, i dont know if its a bug or no but pvp templar is no more viable

Nah it's still strong, got hit with a 15k RD lol, I didn't die instantly from the tick but I couldn't get away + power of light = OP AF got hit with a 12k power of light as if that's fair.

Everyone hates Templars in PvP, don't expect any empathy from this crowd.. Many bugs this patch can't tell what is just nerfed or broken or unannounced "fix" who knows.

Radiant shmadiant. Everyone knows unblockable 11k Purifying/Power of the light is where it's at now.

On a more serious note, RD was nerfed quit a bit, 21%

"The damage of Radiant Destruction was so high that players were able to cast this on targets with high health values and still deal effective damage. This change makes it more important to use the ability at the correct time. In PvP, other players now have more time to react, and in PvE the rotation requires using multiple abilities for a longer period of time." - Dev Comment

you could have at least gave us a chance for radiant to proc like crystal frag

Uhm, read the developers comment I just posted? Because it was OP. I understand the critic from PvE players about this but if RD is your main pvp spam you should feel bad and L2P.

sad that everyone complains about the only good dps skill Templars have, then complain when they use it.

It's still a finisher and not your bread and butter skill for 100% HP enemies.

This exactly. RD shouldn't be your main dps. It's still powerful if you use it as an execute, as it's intended.

Since I was shooting 53k beams in PVE just last week I think it's pretty safe to say it was over performing in PVE as well.

For what it's worth it's still quite easy to do 10k+ damage ticks in PVP if you wait until 35% or lower and are properly equipped to do so. Most I could manage on the PVE target dummy yesterday at near 100% was about 4500.

TLDR: if your main offense is RD at 100%, L2P. If you use it as intended the difference is hardly noticeable.

Seriously...I don't understand why more people aren't upset about Power of the Light.

A clearly magicka skill...that somehow does unavoidable physical damage and is based on stamina. (Unless you've got a purge.)

Stamina builds should be melee builds, not nuke you from afar with holy magic builds.

exactly this! and this is coming from someone that mains a Mag-plar in PvP. It was OP before. Now it should be fine as an execute but near worthless as burst DPS skill, just as it should have been to begin with

A channel skill behave like a cast skill? I would think not.

RO has always been intended to be an execute. OP is talking as though it's his main skill instead.

RO still works great and still does most of the damage it did before and we just need to start using it later.

OP might want to use another skill first.

It's still good at exploding squishy builds that use dodging as their one and only defense, but it's not as effective against some builds. It takes a well timed Purifying Light to finish off survival builds. I have seen well built DKs recover from being executed at 5% health.

Yeah I ran a couple of dungeons this morning with my Templar and it hits way less than it did before... Kind of depressing actually.

I'll just have to find a spot on my bar for purifying light I guess.
