Greetings fellow Tamriel wanderers,
So i created a video recently showing what i have done with the Ebonheart chateau, I finished this a little while ago, just never got round to creating a video of it, wasn't sure if it was something people would like to see or not but i thought id try anyways.
I love systems like this where you can get really creative and do exactly what you want.
The house isnt Lore or Race specific, i created it purely with items i liked the look of instead.
The dungeon is probably what i spent most time on and like how it turned out.
A few small quirks i have with the housing update:
The update itself
The housing is definitely a great edition and a basis for Zenimax to work and improve from, But having said that i would like to see more interactive items such as being able to place doors that function when used and can be left in an open or closed state. Perhaps introducing some way of being able to craft wall designs to section off parts of the house how you see fit and be unique.
Item limit
The item limit, while i understand why it is only 700 (350+350 Sub and most likely server load complications) It could do with being larger to allow more expanse and freedom. Doing my basement alone used a large chunk of the limit, so i had to skimp on the rest of the house and even delete some things i had created and was proud of just so i could fill it and not make it look so baron and empty.

Another example, Lets say you buy/craft counter tops, bookshelves etc. You want to be able to fill the insides of these items with books, scrolls, plates, cups etc etc. But in reality you'd hit the item limit far too quickly trying to make a house that actually looks
lived in.
I ended up even blocking off the outside buildings simply because i didn't have the item limit to create them with the detail that i wanted to, and settled for making them look more abandoned.
Perhaps this is my own fault, trying to over-do or be too artistic with things using too many items. But its a shame the freedom of creating is limited in this way.
My friend, who's house isn't nearly as filled said also they could feel that although they hadn't done much the limit seemed to be filling up rather too quickly.
Anyways that's just my small thoughts on the update, hope you liked the video
