Homestead Xbox first thoughts

Got two hours in before the game froze so I'd like to share my initial thoughts after a brief stint on U13.

I think a small pop up when harvesting housing materials for the first time would be a nice touch - like "cleans pelts are used for cloth station housing items" etc. even though it is easy enough to figure out that each station has its own materials I was like wtf is a mundane rune?

Drop rates aren't as bad as advertised. I got a few of each without farming through normal gameplay. Seeing as furnishing your home is a gradual process it's just enough to where you can make an item or 2 per day which I think is ok. I'm sure a lot of people want to just jump right in and fully furnish their place but I want to stretch the content out for a while so I'm not twiddling my thumbs til morrowind.

Really like the interactable chairs and stuff everywhere. But wish while sitting you could still click on bookshelves or whatever.

Combat feels more sluggish and unresponsive than before. At my normal button mashing rate I'm missing abilities and have to slow it down.

Housing editor works great. No problems at all. Intuitive. Easy. Quick. Well done.

Also when I got a master writ in my package I selected "take all" and it gave me a prompt to accept the writ. Please remove that until it's on my inventory and I click it. I didn't see what it was for until I opened it.

Ick, yeah that sucks. If you press "goodbye" on the quest prompt, the writ stays sealed in your inventory. Can definitely catch people though.

Pissed I can't make imperial stuff ever. Got my nice little imperial house with a nice view and daedra zoo but noooooo I have to use crowns to get imperial stuff. Bit of a Jip tbh.

Other than that this is probably the longest grind we will ever know. I honestly chose this house as I thought *** kitting out the giant palaces. Not my thing.

Writs on 5 characters no master writs.

I'll be doing about 80 max level writs when I log on later, so will see if I get any MW's.... watch this space

-animations with block are awkward, and delayed by 1 actual second
-everything is darker than One Tamriel (no HDR)
-servers are performing worse in terms of loading and moving around
-multiple crashes...bbbbbzzzzzzzzzz
-textures load a lot more slowly if at all
-FPS are steadily below 15-20 in all towns while walking (forget mounts)


So basically stay out of towns with populations and find a house no one wants or outside of a town and the housing stufff......smh leaves a lot to be desired

Slower performance (no crashes yet though so yay!)

Materials seem unbalanced in drop rate (alchemical resin drops a lot more for me)

Guild Trader is more clunky (cannot refine by certain types)

Dungeon Finder does not show dungeon name (intended but stupid)
