After great contemplation, I've come to 3 house choices that interest me. And yet, I can't decide. Which home should I go about purchasing, and why?

I'm really thinking of getting the first option, because of the gorgeous beach scenery and layout of the property. It gives me a rich, Arabian feel. It reminds me of the homes you see on MTV cribs of the entertainers who have that real wealth. That private yacht and home staff type of wealth. :D

I think it depends more on what you want to decorate. I agree that Hunding's is gorgeous but it's also HUGE. The interior is also very dark due to the lack of windows. Those are really the only downsides though as the style is very classy.

I actually almost bought it myself but ended up choosing the demesne in the end to decorate something smaller. It's a little brighter inside with all the nice windows and you also get that waterfall instead of a beach. Not as spacious but still a nice space to decorate. (Water was important for me since I was buying for my old retired Argonian ;))

So yeah, if you're going to have a blast exploring all that land there's no reason not to go with Hunding's. It might be better to consider what you're going to use it for.

I see. My goal is to have a mega mansion of sorts with all things I could possibly need there. A few crafting stations, a DPS dummy, a provisioning setup, etc.

I was also debating between those three.

I went with Strident Springs because it has separate rooms. It also isn't too big.

In that case all the more reason I'd vote Hundings for you. That sounds like what you're going for.
If nothing else it's the more interesting place and has the luxury you're admiring.
(Or Matthisen due to size. I'm not a fan of Matthisen but that's personal taste :D)

Hunding's is my favorite of your options, but really the only thing I like about it is the waterfront view - I don't care for the architectural style or the desert locale.

I'm more of a Forsaken Stronghold guy.

I've seen some people do cool things with Hundings though, saw someone create a maze in their Springs garden.

I agree. I would even be okay seeing something like Craglorn Cave on a much smaller, discrete scale. Hopefully the diversity comes with time. These seem very much like the 'defaults'.

For now I'm alright with settling with Strident. Like @MLGProPlayer said the rooms help a lot in making it cozy. It doesn't feel as big and you can figure out what to do with each room as you go along.

Anyway, good luck, Ch4mp. We'll want pictures when you're finished!

I have daggerfall manor and now I have cap fro decorations with 2 empty rooms and almost empty mainhall
in manors you can get over 500 decorations in just main halls/mainhouses

this cap decorations in manors is just pathetic...I have those 700 decorations and every tables/shelves etc which I have are just empty because this limit for decorations especially for small which you can place on tables is stupidly low

Oddly enough, I ended up going with my second choice. The manor. Something about it just really caught my attention more so than my first pick, interestingly enough. And honestly, the architecture there is stunning. The misc. AD symbolism there also caught my eye and won me over, as I'm a huge Dominion fan.

I'm going to be going with the small khajiit house. It's the cheapest and in my price range, plus my trio of khajiit are siblings who are all from khenarthi's roost - I was happy to see that the small khajiit house is on my favorite island.

My thoughts was the same. But after Gate I've got a Velothi Reverie and I need more. Now I'm looking at the Forsaken Stronghold. I need 700k gold and I'll get it.

I bought imperial in Craglorn last night. Inside is ok and seems to be one of few that comes with a working fire as standard and actually has good outside space.

So far I have very few decorations. The craglorn painting and a nice skyshard for a bedroom light. Not sure if it's worth buying a Sithis statue yet. Anyone got it yet? Would be good to see how big it actually is. Hopefully getting me a Rakkhat statue this Friday.

OT the imperial house seems to be pretty cool.

@ArchMikem I have pet leopards and tigers roaming around my manor. Both indoors and outdoors. Let a fool try, comrade. I don't believe in canine guards. Nope. Senche is where it's at. Nothing screams, "Try me." like a striped senche mount laying down by the front door. :D
