I think it depends more on what you want to decorate. I agree that Hunding's is gorgeous but it's also HUGE. The interior is also very dark due to the lack of windows. Those are really the only downsides though as the style is very classy.
I actually almost bought it myself but ended up choosing the demesne in the end to decorate something smaller. It's a little brighter inside with all the nice windows and you also get that waterfall instead of a beach. Not as spacious but still a nice space to decorate. (Water was important for me since I was buying for my old retired Argonian)
So yeah, if you're going to have a blast exploring all that land there's no reason not to go with Hunding's. It might be better to consider what you're going to use it for.
In that case all the more reason I'd vote Hundings for you. That sounds like what you're going for.I see. My goal is to have a mega mansion of sorts with all things I could possibly need there. A few crafting stations, a DPS dummy, a provisioning setup, etc.
I agree. I would even be okay seeing something like Craglorn Cave on a much smaller, discrete scale. Hopefully the diversity comes with time. These seem very much like the 'defaults'.Hundings is awesome but they need a thieves den on a pirate island.

Because modesty is next to Godliness?
Or was that cleanliness...whatever point is don't show off your wealth or the riff raff will egg your house.
