still hit 15k non crit on people it makes no sense because apparently the attack ignores resistance?
So where the hell is the other 6k?
Fully buffed (rally, relentless focus, shadowy disguise, radiant magelight with a nirnhoned weapon from stealth) my Onslaught hits mobs for about 60-70k and in PvP has hit for 30k.

Looks like you A: have very little points in Hardy and B: have no Impenetrable gear. The reason why I say that is because, my highest crit on a player with onslaught from stealth was 26k and that person had no impenetrabl gear and no hardy cp.
The thing I'm trying to say is, if this skill oneshot you for that much it basically means you aren't running a very good setup for PvP. A player with good CP setup and Impenetrable gear will take no more than 15-17k damage from this skill, again based on my own experience running a setup that tried to oneshot people from stealth with that.

Tbs with shadow mundus. Stamblade, relentless focus and nirnhoned weapon (sharpened pointless with this attack) I've instagibbed many HA Dks with this attack.

Why would you run TBS? You only need the Shadow Mundus since crit doesn't do anything when you are using a stealth attack (since they always crit), plus if you wanted 100% crit you could just pop the nb cloak for that.
In the oneshot setup I run with Onslaught I use Automaton and Clever Alchemist for max weapon damage (although I had forgotten about the Nirnhoned weapon trait change, might try that out).
Fully buffed (rally, relentless focus, shadowy disguise, radiant magelight with a nirnhoned weapon from stealth) my Onslaught hits mobs for about 60-70k and in PvP has hit for 30k.
@Danksta I have heard of people getting these numbers, and I have an idea for a variation on the build, but to see if it is going in the right direction could you please tell me what your max stam and weapon damage are like when you are fully buffed. I'd be very grateful.

Ultimates pull you from stealth anyway don't they. Otherwise you'd be doing 3x that figure. Stealth and ulti doesn't work. Otherwise you'd be getting people dbos a whole zerg.

Onslaught (Two-Handed ult morph):
- Strike an enemy with a vicious blow, dealing [x] Physical Damage.
- This attack ignores the target's mitigation and grants you Physical and Spell Resistance equal to the amount ignored for [8] seconds.
- Killing an enemy with this ability immediately refunds the Ultimate cost.
So.. correct if I am wrong but.. it complacently ignores mitigation (basically when hit by this your armour is 0, and it does not meter if you are blocking or not) ? And if it will be a killing blow, then your ult points are refunded, so you can hit someone else with this ult...
So if you have high crit chance and high crit dmg... yes it is possible to deal that much of a dmg... OMG
