Why is the homstead update not even 4gb on pc but on console its 26gb. 26gb is massive for an update that doesnt even seen like it adds much as the last few updates

If that is true, which I have no idea whether it was 4GB or 26GB, it would probably be due to the capabilities of a PC vs. a console.

Could be that the PC is capable of doing delta updates, where the console is not. (Deltas being only the changed portions of files, rather than replacing every affected file.)

I doubt this has anything to do with ZoS and more to do with the inherent limitations of console gaming.

I never have issues with my 1TB Xbox. What are you people downloading that takes up so much space? 200 video games?

Possibly due to us receiving more incremental patches? Maybe they are able to sneak more stuff into PC patches in the weeks leading up to the major update? Just guessing here.

    That's also highly likely.
We do know that we've already got assets from Vvardenfell for example.
