Stam DK for PvP?

I'm just back to the game after 3 years. I used to play a Stam Nightblade which was amazing in Cyrodil. Now however my tastes have changed and I want to play a DK. I love stamina builds and I want to mainly PvP.
However looking everywhere online it seems like Mag DK is really good right now and Stam DK not so much. I really want to make a new character as a Redguard or Imperial (Can't stand Dark Elf) so I lose those Mag benefits and also I know that I love stam builds.
So my question is: Can Stam DK still be good for PvP? If so, what is a rough build?

✭✭✭✭✭Stamdk is great in pve, but the entire class concept is based on damage over time effects. In pvp, dots just can't bring down targets quickly enough, and are often cleansed off before they even get any real effect inPS4 / NA
