Apparel filters missing in guild stores since Homestead

Hi,
Since the Homestead update I notice that you can no longer filter apparel by type when searching in guild stores.
ie. you cant search just for breeches, hats etc, you need to search through all items. You can only filter by light, heavy, medium and by trait and enchantment.
Note, I play with a gamepad so this gives a different UI in most menus including guild stores.
Has anybody else noticed this?
If so, why were these filters removed?
Also, on a slightly related topic, anyone know what category writs come under in guild stores??
