I would really like to see if the treasure map painting drops were finally fixed. My inventory is full of maps and same my mailbox. I have nowhere to put it anymore ><

It was unannounced until right before it hit.
While this is the normal window, ZOS has previously given much more notice prior to maintenance outages, as well as notice when maintenance wasn't going to occur.

✭A major update hit the server only a few week ago, we're on the classic maintenance day, so a maintenance was fully expected.
Thus, there are some bugs who need a correction (those ZOS acknowledged, I won't speak for those who carry since a long time
).

Silenced pet dogs who began barking a little too enthusiastically after the Homestead update.
It took them 3 hours. Right now they are focused on fixing crab clenching sound so it may take a while for maintanance to be over. I assume atleast 5 hours maintanance.0 -

Well thats a few ZOS employers having to do an odd shift vs thousands of ESO players. They have rotated it before. It just takes informing us early enough and small deviations every 2 to 3 weeks in the time schedule.0 -

While you play you see a message "New versions available. Restart your game to get new patch"
It is so hard to learn and make player base life easy.
Anyway there is still hope.
