[PS4] Unable Be Bitten By Vampiric Players

I've been to all three vampire shrines and I have tried to be bitten by members of all three alliances. I am told they are given the prompt to bite me, however, they are unable to do it. I do not have any status ailments on my character, the only thing I have on my character sheet is "Boon: The Lady." I made a report in game and received a tutorial on how to actually get vampirism. I replied that I already knew the process but was unable to actually be bitten. The reply I got for this was even more depressing.
"It appears that there is not currently a known issue / bug or solution for this issue at this time. If you feel that this is indeed a bug, please submit feedback via our forums. It is much appreciated."
This is why I am posting on the forums. I would appreciate any and all help, thank you.

    I've figured it out, I had to kill myself and respawn for it to work. This is an issue and I hope if someone else runs into this they'll be able to figure it out as well.
