Hi, been playing this game for a while now and when it comes to food I've noticed there isn't much variety (in terms of usefulness). With recent events we've seen some new recipes that include some unique bonuses, such as the Double Bloody Mara sating vampire thirst, or the Hissmir Fish-Eye recipe. All other recipes benefiting either max stat or stat regen (with the exclusion of exp drinks). This is certainly a good place to be, however, I think that it could be made more interesting/diverse.
Taking a look at several of the New Life Festival recipes, it seems the designers also wanted to include some alchemical ingredients to the creation of some of consumables. This gave me the idea of having recipes that provide other bonuses based on included ingredients.
For example, perhaps a recipe that requires White Cap, and also increases spell Resist by a small amount. Or a recipe that includes Butterfly wing, and also applies Minor Fortitude.
This would include penalties of course, so that they don't become generally more useful than their Primary Stat increasing counterparts. If a recipe was included that used Columbine as an ingredient, it would provide Minor Fortitude/Intellect/Endurance, but at the same time only add a bonus to one Primary Stat and also have a reduced duration (in comparison to blue or purple recipes). You could think of these as a bridge between potions and foods.
Are there reasons you think this is a bad idea/ good idea? Perhaps there are ways this could be exploited with gear? Would the bonuses be too powerful? Are there any recipes you could come up with that would be a cool idea?
