PS4 controller on Mac

In gamepad mode, the PS4 controller works great...when its connected via USB. Over bluetooth, the triggers (L2/R2) don't function properly. R2 registers as L2 (character blocks instead of attacks) and L2 doesn't do anything at all. All of the other buttons work fine.
Anyone know a fix for this?
