Filleting fish FML

I been going after the fishing achievement been a real blast(sarcasm) but anyways I saved up 1,500 fish after clearing all of DC and thought this would be a good time to fillet all them fish and cash in a ton of perfect roe!

It took 1 hour of game time to finish 1 hour bc that stupid cool down every time to click the fish ugh can we remove that cool down and make it more like refining raw mats please? 1,500 ore takes me about 1 min to refine why the hell should fish take 1 hour? Better question why is there a cool down on fish like useing food?

1 hour is just to long and I'm not looking forward to doing it again after I clear AD zone btw I got 12 perfect roe out of all those fish.

Just be careful for however long you use automated mods, cause I believe its safe just do it for a bit of time but over night can get you in trouble for using it

I once spent like 3 hours using all the cooking mats I had stored to make junk food to vendor. I think I made at least 250k but it wasn't worth it. Then again, I was just hitting R while watching Tv.

Does anyone know why there is even a cool down in between each fillet fish is it a must have for a reason would it really hurt to just get rid of it?

The problem is this basic functionality should be in the game and not require such a basic add-on, especially because ZOS refuses to support add-ons so if you run into a glitch screws up your game from the many abandoned add-ons out there... you're screwed. I like add-ons, but ZOS' reliance on them is bad.

I think the timer is just tied to the animation like most crafting . Same reason there is a brief animation for Provisoning , woodworking and others . So you can be immersed in all the fishy cutting wonders .

Probably some RNG math server side goings on during animation is why as well .

only fillet enough until you get a roe or 2, leave it until the next day to fillet more.

I guess this would save me gaming time instead of killing a full day trying to get them all done

i have done a lot of fishing....

i have filleted in a number of ways....

i have found the least rewarding to be saving up thousands and doing them all at once.

i have found the most rewarding to be fish a small area then fillet them...

more roe that way. just my experience so don't sue me if it doesn't work for you.
