Lately I've noticed that I will go into a delve and all of the containers will be empty. It has happened in dungeons, delves, and even trials. Once in a while, traveling to a group member or relogging fixes it, but sometimes it doesn't. This is especially noticeable now that everyone is trying to loot blueprints from urns, backpacks, and whatever. What is the deal? Is this a bug? It is instanced because it happens to some group members and not others.

Yes, blue prints. I've wondered around various zones & delves. Very little in the way of chests anywhere. Not just chests either. Resource nodes are being battled for. Very common for players to race in and grab nodes before another players gets the chance.

I haven't had this happen to me in a long time but in 2014 my first character (and not other ones) lived in a Tamriel where Clickyville has nothing but empty containers everywhere. Once day months later it just stopped. Reporting the bug had no effect. Presumably, a different bug is afflicting you. I wish you luck.

I think it would be important to point out that crates, containers, furniture and urns are instanced to the player. As in, another player cannot empty these before you get there. This only happens to chests with lockpick mechanics.

As for the issue, yes, we've noticed it pretty badly in the SO trial.

There used to be a bug that dropped you in a zone where *all* containers were empty but i haven't seen this since 2014.

Try logging out and back in and see if the containers reset. They should ...

I've noticed this too in dungeons and trials, especially ones I run several times a night. During one run through of Maw of Lorkhaj I can loot some containers. However if we run the same trial again later, different instance, all containers will be empty. I'm not sure what causes that, but I would suspect it's a bug.

It actually happened today in a delve that my toon had never done before. I tried relogging and it didn't work.

Happens to me in XBNA once in a while... sometimes I also get dungeons with no mobs... Happened a couple of times in Vile Manse (the no mob thing)... waited for like 5 minutes and there were no mobs anywhere... logged off and on again and they were all there...

This happened to me in the Hollow City the other day. Relogged, came back, every barrel, trunk, sack, crate, etc ... was empty.

Bumping this sorry...last night I noticed for the first time that all or most all containers are empty for me in Hall of the Dead and Old Orsinium. Logging off then back on did not help. @ZOS_GinaBruno never happened to me before update. My guildies having same issues so much that they are under the false impression that other people are beating them to the backpacks, dressers and urns. whats up with this? intended?
