ADD ON settings being reset to default

This is a bug that has been happening to me a lot lately
add ons such as Factory Tactical Combat, Inventory Grid View, Tamriel Clock, CraftStore
these are just the addons I have noticed to reset their settings.
I was told that changing your @ name makes your redo your settings all over again but this has happened ever since the maintenance of homestead.
happened maybe 3 times now I asked a couple guilds, and a zone chat and it seems to have happened to others as well but I am unsure how many people are being affected by it
