Master Writ drop Question?

What are the bare minimum requirements to have a chance for a master writ drop? Is having skill points in Quality (green, blue, purple, gold) a must? Or do you just have to max skillpoints in the level of the items? I know already that learning rare motifs and maxing traits and unlocking ingredients and run words help. Just want to know if I am waisting my time by not having max skill points in the quality for my secondary crafters.

Bare minimum for a chance at a master writs is doing a regular writ. I've gotten them on characters with only glad the traits researched.

You already know the how to improve chance.

As i heard (might be a myth), learning new blueprints and such will increase the drop rate for that character.

You have a better chance if your character or characters that are doing the writs are Master Crafters. However, with ZOS's RNG crappy drop rates the chances suck. I have two Master Crafter's that I use to do the daily writs. I have not gotten a Master Writ in two days after doing a total of 24 writs between the two.

my main crafter is getting most of the writs certainly. I have left up 3 others to master crafter in all crafts and only one drop from them. total while my main had had like 4 drop

If so it would only be epic quality or better.
