I don't agree with an option to class change but I do feel that certain achievements, skill points, and sky shards should carry over. Undaunted rank as well as fighters guild and mages guild rank should carry over to a new toon as well
Those who play with only one toon, will they create new toons just to experience some new skill line, doing all those quests, skyshards, mount training, trait research all over again? Doubt it.
Those who play with several toons, will they stop creating new toons if the class change come out? No, they want to experience several builds at the same time, also get more master writ.
Speak for yourself. I love playing all classes and specifications. I haven't made an alt in a while but when I did, I found the leveling process useful in order to learn the class more before reaching end game.

I have an almost full stable of 7 characters, spanning all four current classes. I find the leveling very useful in learning the in's and out's of each class, and skipping that leveling due to an uncontrollable lack of patience *coughyoucough*, would only leave a person with a maxed out character, but no idea of how to utilize the abilities properly.
A class change token (or whatever) is in no way necessary to this game, and has a high probability to make things much more difficult to the player who uses it.
Just create a new character, level it out, and learn along the way.
In this regard (as in so many other examples) patience is indeed a virtue.

(Also, of course ZOS will make class change cost a fortune. Those who don't want it, just ignore it)

I wouldn't ever want to restart all my progress. Ive been my main since launch due to my limited playtime. I still love the game among its issues, and im mighty proud of my sorc. Theres always something to achieve and grow.
However as much as id like to try out another class and not redo all that content, people would abuse it and then youll be seeing a bunch of the same builds, classes and races for meta.

Why in Oblivion would you not want to experience playing the new class as, well, a new class in the first place?

It doesn't concern you so let us have more options

See how silly that sounds?
Class change just won't happen. Level a new one. .
