What is the difference between stealth, sneak, hidden, invisible? Please help

I'm playing on Xbox One right now with an Xbox One controller so please keep that in mind when replying.

The Bosmer racial passive reads "Increases damage done while in Stealth by 10%"

When I press down on the right analog stick I crouch.

1. Does this mean I am in stealth?

2. In PvP can other players still see me when I crouch and move around?

3. Does pressing the right analog stick and then attacking activate the Bosmers +10% damage?

4. What is the difference between crouching and using an ability like Shadow Cloak?

5. Can players see you in PvP with shadow cloak activated?

6. Will the Bosmer racial passive work with any class just by pressing the right analog stick?

Yes, crouching enables stealth.
Enemy players can not see you, friendly can, stealth is used a lot for movement in PvP.

Your first attack get the stealth attack bonus, attacking breaks stealth.
Bosmer bonus will stack with other stealth bonuses

I guess the bonus will work for any skill or ability, not sure about DoT effects.

1. yes.
2. no, not unless you come within their detection radius. if they are running Inner Light that detection radius increases, but can be offset with various potions or set bonuses
3. yes, on the first hit.
4. crouch you are still subject to a detection radius, cloak you will remain hidden regardless if you keep casting but will be brought out if you take hits from an AoE attack
5. not in theory, but i suspect theres some level of cheating going on because i've been targeted by jesus beams despite not coming out of cloak at all (and it's not lag).

When you crouch, the targeting reticle goes from a crosshair to a line, however it takes a couple seconds for your character to become hidden. Once it does, the screen will tell you "Hidden" above that line. Once it says that, now you're in Stealth and that damage buff applies to your next attack.

If you're near any mob that has partial line of sight on you, but not enough to see you that line will change into a half open eyeball, but you'll still be in Stealth and the boost will still apply.
