Ever since ESO added the ability to lock items so you cannot deconstruct/sell/etc. them, I got rid of any locking addons and used the vanilla feature. I love the locking feature even though it's simple.
I thought this before, but now with learning all these new plans for furniture, I find it really bothering me that we can't lock consumables. I'm sure I'm not the first person that learned a recipe/motif on a character they didn't want to. I recently had an imperial motif floating around for awhile, and was always paranoid around it because a few characters do not know it yet, but their crafting is levelled enough that I could have learned it had I used it.
So, why can't we lock consumables? Lock them so there is no ability to accidentally use them on a character I didn't want to? I'd really love this feature!
