Target Dummy (suggestion)

I will keep this short. One of two things should happen. Either they need to increase the re-spawn time just a bit (30 seconds to a minute) or the better solution, make is so you have to press a button to activate the respawn.

There are two big problems. First, any pet build is a nightmare to test with. Once you finish the test, you have to (within about 1.5 seconds) remove the skill from yourbar to cause the pet to despawn, or it just starts attacking the same dummy again. It is really frustrating in practice, because usually I have to do a test and then kill it a second time so I have a clean dummy to test again.

Second, (and thinking about ZOS's wallet), I would love to be able to place multiple dummies together to test AOE. Now, there is no point because they just continue to respawn as they die, which means you cant get as solid parse out of it unless you magically kill them all at the same time.

Carry on.

Agree on this. For anything besides pets you can just recast the ground aoes somewhere else, but it is really annoying. A 15 to 20 second respawn timer would be perfect.

One addition, I'd like a PvP dummy that activates Battle Spirit.

Regarding the pet issue, I have found that if you press Y and right click to recall your pet(s) it will save you from having to un-summon the pet.

I was honestly not aware there was a hotkey for that. I only just started messing with them. Pets carry a host of other issues in PVE trials, so i usually dont mess with them. I might need to recheck my keybindings. I still think the re-spawn is too fast in any event.

Not a bad Idea. I think there are endless options they could do. I wouldnt mind one with permanent Ele Drain on it. Would save me needing a healer to test DPS.

By default the Y key is used for limited pet control. Holding Y and left-clicking on an enemy will send your pet(s) to attack that enemy. Holding Y and right-clicking will pull your pets back out of combat.

There is no equivalent for console players unfortunately and I suspect also not for PC players using gamepad controls.

This seems to make the most sense... I can't think of a negative of needing to syngergize to "summon skeleton".

100%. This is the obvious solution with absolutely no downside. It simply doesnt need to respawn that fast. If you are doing proper testing, you are going to spend some time between pulls to analyze what you did anyways.

I agree, there definitely needs to be a longer time before respawn.
If I don't cast my aoe elsewhere faster enough, it starts on the new one.
