I just wish they would look at server-activity times before deciding when to schedule maintenance. It really isn't that hard.

They have. Every Monday, from 9am, they have found there is -no- server activity for 4-6 hrs, so perfect for maintenance..

@XDragonDoomX you mean they did that report on the NA server. Not the EU server. Different time zones = different high-activity times.
Third day after purchasing the game it was the HOMESTEAD maintanance....
...Ok it's a new patch ofc it will take all day...
But are you telling me every monday we cannot play the game ?:(

Logging in atm
It must be nice to be bored on a Monday morning... #WorkProblems

Not true, many games i played, have maintenance as needed, Basis. Warcraft for example can manage just fine with simple realm restarts, SWTOR has very short maintenances, EVE was best by having one hour each day.
Many also differentiate EU from NA and Asia because the time zones make people wanting to play at different times, so when NA is just waking up, EU is allready in the afternoon, people getting out of work, schools etc.
ESO weekly maintenace duration, is comparable to other games adding major content patch and it would really be nice to have some schedule so that its not on guess basis when the maintenace ends.
I really liked how EVE did it, it was 1 hour, every day, Thats not too long to be of any trouble to anyone even while it was in midle of afternoon and it was basically always exactly one hour, sometimes less, rarely more.
