I currently have eso on xbox pyhsical copy if i buy the morrowwind upgrade digitaly of the xbox store will it work or do i have to buy morrowwind physical

Will I now need to play using a disk or is there a download code in the physical edition?I don't always drink Skooma, but when I do I go to the Southwall Corner Club.
