Game doesn`t want to run.

Hello! This problem started after Homestead.
I downloaded new patch few days after it`s go on live. Started the game and... Saw this:

"The program is not working. Emerged problem lead to stop programm. Windows will close this programme and if there is
known way to solve problems it will notife you". I did repair in game launcher and it didn`t solve the problem. I deleted game, dowloaded it once more... It didn`t work. Did repair once more and things are still the same.
I downloaded the game from Steam. I tried to run the game from Steam and non-Steam launcher. I didn`t install new drivers or updatings. I have Windows 7 64 bit system.
Please, is there any way to solve my problem? I want to play my lovely game

P.S. Sorry for my English, it`s quite bad.

It's the same for me and a lot of other people. The Homestead patch which came out on February 6 broke the game entirely on certain systems I'm afraid. I tried a lot of stuff, like completely reinstalling the game or getting all the Windows upgrades, but nothing worked. You got no choice but to hope they eventually fix it with a patch.

I have had the exact same problem... even reinstall flash player just to make sure i had the more recent version.
only started playing just over a week ago.. and paid to have ESO plus. it is kind of annoying >.<

Update: problem is solved. I just dowloaded new drivers for my videocard and game started to work. Before it I checked PC for viruses. I hope it can help you guys @Djem @Equidorious

Unfortunately nothing works for me. I have updated windows, updated all drivers, re-downloaded updates that include Microsoft Visual C++ dlls that the game has said it needs in order to run.. and nothing. Whatever they did with homestead broke the game on my system and it is unplayable. I'm anxiously waiting for them to fix this in a future patch so I can play again.

Unfortunately this bug was revealed a month ago on the PTS and apparently ignored by the developers, so I'm not holding my breath.

Same here. Today's patch didn't fix it either. Time to move on

FIXED IT!!

My problem was that I had two graphic cards in my PC (Intel and AMD), and the game kept reading the lower powered one(Intel). I set the AMD driver to maximum performance for the game, then uninstalled the Intel driver, RESET MY PC (important, as I did this before without resetting and it didn't help), and then went back and reinstalled the Intel driver.[/
