Naming pet ..... and houses, why ?

I know, i know, we have way much important stuff that this, but yesterday i wondered suddenly why you allow us to rename the cosmetic pets as we can never see their new name ?
Same you allowed us to rename the houses but it appears only on an invisible window.
I thought that in the house i could see the rename, but no, its the generic name for all.
So will there be some change some day and the name we gave them will show or never ?
