Possible bug?

I had 2 green Thunderbug Carapace set-which is a normal overland set, I upgraded them to blue for sale and it says "bind on equip". However, when I tried posting them on a trader, it said they were bound. Am I missing something? I definitely did not equip them. Anyone else having this issue?
