Hello,
I`m wondering whether this will work:
a) be vampire (33% damage reduction at low health)
b) get pirate skeleton (+30% damage reduction when the set triggers)
c) get minor protection, from a skill or the vampire's cloak set (+8% damage reduction)
d) be Nord (6% damage reduction)
This would give us 77% damage reduction when we are at low health, a mistform that doesn't cost mana, we can heal, get healed, and can attack.
So here's quick reminder, reduction effects are way more powerful when one stacks them, example:
we have 0% damage reduction --> now we add 15% reduction --> monster that'd deal 100 damage now deals 85, it now needs 1.18 hits to do as much damage as it usually would, 85*1.8 = ca. 100
Next example, we already HAVE 75% damage reduction --> monster that'd deal 100 damage now deals 25 with our reduction = we can take four times as many hits as usual.
NOW we add an extra 15% reduction --> 90% reduction --> monster that'd deal 100 damage now deals 10, we can take 10 times as many hits as usual.
So, how does ESO calculate damage reductions, for instance, I think the developers changed mistform into not just stacking with undeath anymore, a while ago.
Would the above idea really lead to a plain 77% damage reduction, and if not, how much does it reduce?
And because we are vampire, if the set refuses to trigger, we can always just go into mistform^^
What are your ideas and build ideas for this if this remotely works?
Best regards
