Does Netch's Set impact the volatile familiar damage?

I've always ran a sorc pet build and I'm thinking about getting netch's set. Does anyone know if Netch's affects the pbaoe from the sorc pet? or even its base damage ability? I've been focusing on just maximizing magicka to enhance the pet damage. So i use Mage mundus, even though i've heard that thief is better over all.

Here is my current build and I use, and before i go through and buy a netch's set i'd like some feedback to see if anyone has tested it with the pets.

Head - Infernal Guardian (don't have the infused yet, infused on large pieces gives more magicka)
Shoulder - Infernal Guardian
Chest - Infused Necropotence (infused on large pieces gives more magicka)
Hands - Divine Necropotence
Waist - Divine Magnus Sash (part 1 of magnus bonus magick)
Legs - Infused Necropotence (infused on large pieces gives more magicka)
Feet - Divine Necropotence
Necklace - Necklace of Necropotence (gives bonus magicka for 5 piece and having active pet)
Ring 1 - Ring of Willpower
Ring 2 - Ring of Willpower (gives 2 piece will power bonus of: + magicka)
Main hand - Sharpened, Magnus Lightening Staff (part 2 of magnus bonus magick)
Second bar Hand - Sharpened, Magnus Lightening Staff (part 2 of magnus bonus magick)

Pet tooltip damage is only affected by your max magicka value, so it wont benefit from any sets boosting spell damage.

But that's not how this set works.

It literally adds that damage amount to that ability.

Netch will add 400 straight up damage to an ability (including sets - say Overwhelming Surge hint hint)

So it MAY indeed add dmg to the Pet, as it is an "ability"

I have not tested this, it may or may not, very good question

Edit: BTW nice to see you Java! Been a long time!

I strongly believe Netch should be Burning Spellweave's counterpart ie; give 600 spell damage rather than the paltry 400, without that the set will always be vendor trash. My advice stick with Necropotence.

IF thats how it works than thats a bug.
Adds 400 Spell Damage to your Shock Damage abilities.

This is worded exactly like Sun, Automaton, etc. all adding spelldamage to the calculation, not flat damage after.

That's how Ysgramor works, it adds the flat dmg to Enchantments, Sets, and Skills. I have not done any testing of silk or stamina sets. But definitely with Ysgramor

Edit: I'll do some testing as soon as I can :) now I wish I had silk and netch lol
