Most rare class/race combinations that you never see.....but can still make a good build?

What are the most rare race and class combinations that you never see....but can still make a good build. Be creative.

My list:

1. Orc Stamina Sorcerer Tank/DPS - Crazy speed and a lot of melee damage

2. Argonian Magic Templar Tank - I watched an excellent video of a veteran tank player explaining in detail how Argonians are a top tier tank in the game. He explained that many people think Nord out perform Argonians but the 6% damage reduction was not as much as people thought. He also explained how underestimated the "Resourceful" racial passive is.

3. Breton Magic Nightblade Healer/Tank - Lots of magic with reduced magic cost....and can use spell resistance when switching to tanking.

4. Altmer Magic Dragonknight Healer - You'd get a lot of magic and magic recovery for healing and still have the option to switch to flame damage

I know a guy who plays a High Elf Stam Sorc. Completed vMA on it several times now. I can't say it's somehow a great combination, but he manages to make it work by having played this odd combination for a very long time now, it's in his veins.

I think the requirement on your race/class needing to match has been vastly over exaggerated.

Yes, a good fit will be better, but we're not talking about the same gaps that gear, levels or CP will cause.

This one's current favourite character to be on is the Dunmer Stam Sorc. Running 5 V.O, 5 R.M and 2 Grothdar with Maelstrom bow on the back bar. A real fire storm that melts enemies in PvE.

Need to rework the elf for PVP though

Breton nightblade healer is obvious. Never thought about other race for this build. Orc shaman, maybe, but for pure roleplay reasons, not efficiency.
My pure roleplay race/class combination is khajiit sorcerer healer, priestess of Azurrah. White coat and mane, blue eyes, temple circlet. Pure beauty.
My DK healer is argonian. She is ok, has huge amount of health for bigger shields.
I'm in process of deleting them all, because of warden and future character order mess.

I'm a magicka templar healer redguard, and it has worked fine. Since launch I've only been abused by two players due to my race/class combination.

Gear/build/race/class I heard someone say once accounts for about 1/3rd of your success, the other 2/3rds comes from what you actually do in battle. I think that's a fairly accurate overview.

To put it another way, as Makela Leki says: "...it is the swordsman, not the sword, that matters".

Pact Nord Dk is common because of three dragon emblem combination. Race, class, alliance.

sometimes those odd combinations are actually better- they ll have a trait advantage that is focused rather than broad, like orc stam sorc- although common now cos of fengrush- has a real advantage is speed that is uncommon

This one has run dungeons in the past with a Khajiit templar hybrid which was always fun. Rare though.

Who cares about race besides min-maxers? I'd rather have a character I like than a character that's 2% better.

Argonians, Orcs, Khajit, Redguards and Imperials are the races I don't see that much. I'd love to have more Argonians and Orcs as players.

When this game was marketed at first, the idea was always to "do whatever you want, build however you want". I believe ZoS has somewhat achieved this.

Would love to see a good magika based Bosmer NB

Well, guess what I got for ya!! My magplar khajiit Falls-With-Stars regularily runs in vet trials and whatnot, and I have to say that she hits purty hard. Maybe pulls like 5% less deeps than a normal high elf or dark elf, but that percentage can be overcome.

Altmer stamina-based Nightblade Tank. Probably the worst class/race/role combination ever but I still make it work.

My (one and only) character is a Bosmer. Always has been since well before ESO and always will be. That is just who she is. That said, in ESO she is a magplar healer and does fine. . . she's just the shortest healer on the battlefield.

I have a few maybe not quite so common combinations. Orsimer templar girl. Argonian dragonknight. Khajiit Sorceress.

Hey, everyone can play the FotM or other super-effective combinations. The challange of making a not max-effect combi work anyhow is fun sometimes!

I haven't seen many Breton MagDKs -- but they're definitely an effective choice.

One of the best players I ever met on this game was a Breton Nightblade healer.

It's not the class/race it's the player.

I have a Khajiit stam sorc that was used as a magic sorc for about a year until stam sorc started to get some abilities and passives changed.

I ran a Breton Stamblade for a while. It worked well riiiiight up until I tried running a trial. Then I got ate up by a Mantikora.
