Hi, not sure where to post player feedback and suggestions for developers. But here's what Id like to see:
Yes, its a lot, but here is my rationale. Dream big. Put a lot of ideas on the table no matter how lame they might seem. You never know what will spark another idea in someone else.
1.Make player housing account bound and accessible for all alts. so if I purchase a house its available to all my toons. Seriously, the prices are so exorbitant Ill barely be able to purchase one castle some day, let alone 8.
2. If a player has a partner, (i.e you used the Mara's Blessing Contract) then you can "add" your partner to your home and grant your partner access. Maybe they cant open your drawers and closets unless you designate a drawer or a closet as "shared".
3. Group access? for gathering and meeting, but not for storing all their things in my home. so they can sit, walk around the courtyard, wander through the rooms, but not open my chests, or closets or use my crafting centers. Strictly social hanging out. With its own private channel so we all can talk and not be heard outside the home area.
4. furniture should be useable. ie, a dresser, a closet or a chest, you can actually put things in. Furniture you can sit on or lie down on such as a chair or a bed.
5. ability to marry a game character as in Skyrim, only also have ability to divorce if the warrior you picked becomes a wash rag. I liked how the character you married had bonus to it such as ability for repairing or buying and selling, making you food items. And best, when you could take them with you to fight. Only, I think its terrible your married partner would turn you in for theft!
6. would like to have functional crafting stations in my own home. But this is not a must-have as its really just as easy to go out and go to a craft station.
7. Id like to be able to store my horses in my own stable and let my "pets" roam around a room or an estate which I own.
8. would be awesome to be able to purchase farm animals for the larger estates...a little chicken here or there. maybe they lay eggs used for crafting?
9. I love that you can purchase plants for your courtyard. Id like to see more flowers and such and Id like to see some plants that work indoors as well.
10. need a functional fireplace to COOK in. functional cooking pot!
11. some homes have several fireplaces but only one active. would like to be able to purchase fire for the other fireplaces
12. the paintings are ....mmmmm...lets just say Id like to have wall hangings (tapestries) like they did in medieval times...
13. wouldn't it be great if you purchased a landscape and you could take a snap shot of your fav area....you and your friends and insert that into the "painting".
14. Id like to be able to sit next to the pool that one or more estates have and put feet in the water...or if deep enough swim in. Yes, I know its silly. But Im all about the functionality.
Im just dreaming out loud. What would you like to see? and is anyone listening? Hope so.
I just left another game Id been playing since 2004 because "they" not only weren't listening, they pretty much adopted a "we cant be bothered" and a "you're on your own" attitude.
Dear ESO, please don't ever get a fat head like that. I don't expect to get everything my way. But sure would mean a lot to know you care enough to listen.

I do not see a method for sharing your home with your partner or your guild mates. What am I missing?
Ive read that you can not store things in boxes or cupboards in the same way as older ESo games.
I haven't seen much in the crown store for furnishings at all. Have seen things in guild stores, for exorbitant prices, so I wont be buying and need to figure out how to make my own.
How do you make your fireplace into a cooking station? Or turn a dead fireplace into a live one?
and finally, can anyone point me to a good guide on crafting for your house, where and how to get crafting stations for your house? Im not as familiar with ESo as I was with WOW (which I no longer play) so Im uncertain what the best resources are for picking up info, tips n tricks, add-ons etc.0
